Biography
Evan is a Senior Principal Research Scientist currently serving on the Media and Entertainment Industry Futures team exploring generative and procedural worldbuilding techniques, motion synthesis, and novel content creation workflows. Previously, Evan’s work focused on prototyping and developing intuitive methods for controlling robotic systems with the Autodesk Robotics Lab, where he created Mimic – an open-source plugin that lets creatives program industrial robots by animating them in Autodesk Maya. Evan received both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and has been with Autodesk ever since.
