Biography

Dagmara Szkurlat is a Senior Manager of Strategic Programs within Autodesk Research in London, UK. During her time at Autodesk, she developed Generative Design algorithms for D&M and AEC industries, worked on XR concepts for engineering workflows of the future, and prototyped tools that could help our customers make more sustainable design choices. She holds patents related to her work on fatigue constraints. Prior to joining Autodesk, Dagmara was a full-stack software developer at JP Morgan Chase and startups. She started her career as a mechanical engineer at Royal IHC and Voltsport, working on projects such as structures of subsea pipe-lay machinery, hydropower plants and crane hydraulics. Dagmara graduated MEng from the University of Edinburgh and studied solar engineering in Sydney, Australia. She’s an RSA fellow and an Autodesk University speaker.
