Biography
Ka-Hei Hui, Edward, is a PhD graduate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he conducted research under the supervision of Prof. Chi-Wing Fu, Philip. His research expertise lies in 3D shape analysis and generation, with a focus on developing deep learning methods for synthesizing 3D content across various formats including point clouds, implicit functions, and meshes. He also likes to explore data-driven approaches for solving combinatorial optimization problems. Outside of work, Edward enjoys video/computer games, cinema, and hiking.
