Biography
Saeid Asgari is a Principal Machine Learning Research Scientist at the Autodesk AI Lab, and an Adjunct Research Professor at the School of Computing Science, Simon Fraser University, Canada. Previously, he explored real-world machine learning and computer vision problems as a research scientist in startup environments. Saeid’s research focus is on creating simple and trustworthy (robust, reliable, and fair), real-world machine learning systems that don’t fail (drastically) in case of domain shifts.
