Biography

Sean Liu is a Principal AI Research Scientist at Autodesk Research. Her research focuses on enhancing user control for generative models and bridging gaps in visual attention and perception. She has an extensive research background in generative AI, computer graphics, and human-computer interaction (HCI). Prior to joining Autodesk, she was a postdoc at CMU, where she worked with Prof. Jun-Yan Zhu on 2D image generation and diffusion models. She completed her Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Maneesh Agrawala at Stanford, where she developed new techniques for image and video editing. She also earned a B.Sc. in EECS from UC Berkeley.
