Biography

Tomas is a Software Architect in the Research Engineering team within Autodesk Research, currently working on data-centric capabilities leveraging ontologies and semantic web technologies, to be applied in both Manufacturing and AEC fields. Before joining Research in 2020, Tomas was part of the Forge organization, where he contributed to diverse platform-related, web-based capabilities, going from workflow automation to binary data management. He joined Autodesk in 2014 and has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bonn. Computer graphic and computed vision enthusiast since his undergraduate days, Tomas also enjoys learning about structured data, ontologies and semantic web. On his free time he likes to do sports and travel with his family.
